I had a Pap smear done on the 8th. It came back abnormal. Now the doctor wants to do a colposcopy and a biopsy of my cervix. The doctor is concerned that it could be cancer.

I ask God to bless a book chapter that I ought to write by 15 January. It seems like an impossible task, but it is a topic that I know well and it is an important book. It appears that I even have enemies who would like me not to finish it.

A friends husband, John Messerian, fell from a ladder and bruised his kidney and spleen. They have the bleeding under control now, but he still needs prayer.
Please pray for our son Bryant Severns & all his fellow recruits from Charlie & Co Plt 1005 & Papa & Co Plt 1006. At 2 am this morning they started their 54 hour journey that includes a 45 mile march that includes food & sleep deprivation along with many physical & mental challenges. This exercise is what the Marines call the Crucible. If Bryant masters this he will graduate on 1-19. Bryant has attended Sunday services during boot camp & has shared that he was extremely helpful & uplifting. I have asked Bryant to attend Sunday morning worship service on 1-21 during his 10 day leave. Please pray for Bryant's soul that God will continue to draw him closer to him. I ask that you pray that God will give him/them all the needed strength to successfully complete the crucible with his/their platoon. Thank you & God bless!
My downstairs neighbour is in hospital with breathing problem! Her lungs are filled with fuids. Keep her in your prayers AMEN!
